Rational use of energy storage batteries
Shenglong Power is an excellent battery company. The function of the energy storage battery is to store the limited electrical energy and use it in a suitable place. Its working principle is to convert chemical energy into electrical energy, and it is widely used in transportation, electricity, communication and other fields.
Every kind of battery will have self-discharge phenomenon. If it is not used for a long time, energy will be lost, so it needs to be charged and discharged regularly. Engineers can judge the quality of the battery by measuring the open circuit voltage of the battery. Take a 12V battery as an example. If the open circuit voltage is higher than 12.5V, it means that the battery has more than 80% energy storage. If the open circuit voltage is lower than 12.5V, it should be Immediately perform supplementary charging. If the open circuit voltage is lower than 12V, it means that the battery stores less than 20% of the electric energy, and the battery is in danger of being unusable.
Because the maintenance-free battery adopts the absorption electrolyte system, it will not generate any gas during normal use, but if the user uses it improperly, the battery will be overcharged and gas will be generated. At this time, the internal pressure of the battery will increase, which will cause the battery The pressure valve on the top is opened, which will seriously cause the battery to swell, deform, leak or even rupture. These phenomena can be judged from the appearance. If the above situation is found, the battery should be replaced immediately.

Now let's solve a simple and numerous repair method to solve the problem of poor contact caused by looseness and corrosion between the terminal head and the slack receiving column of the electricity storage device, which cannot be put into use normally.
Homemade repair tools and required materials:
Welding wire: Find a 0.5m long car ground wire and attach a high-quality battery charging clip.
Welding electrode: Find a No. 1 dry battery and pull out the carbon rod in the middle as the electrode for welding contact.
Mould: As shown in the attached picture, either a lathe can be used to machine a mould, or a simple iron tube can be made by wrapping a thin iron sheet on the undamaged terminal.
Solder: Use a hacksaw to cut off the terminals on the discarded battery and break them into small pieces for later use.
Repair operation process:
First fully charge the battery, clamp one end of the carbon rod with pliers, clamp the charging clip on the welding wire to the pliers, connect the wiring clip on the welding wire to the undamaged terminal, and put the mold on the damaged terminal The inside is filled with solder. At this time, hold the handle of the pliers and contact the welding electrode with the damaged terminal and solder. At this time, the carbon rod turns red, melting the solder and the damaged wire, and the carbon rod is smoothly in the mold. Move the welding electrode to fully melt it.
After about a few tens of seconds, immediately remove the welding electrode and pour cold water on it to make it solidify quickly. If it is not ideal, repeat the operation until it is solid and reliable. After removing the mold, use a file and sandpaper to polish it to a standard size. put into use.
Precautions:
Before welding, the filler cap of the battery must be unscrewed. The repair operation should be carried out in a well-ventilated place.
After the mold is placed on the damaged terminal, it should be wrapped with a damp cloth on the periphery of the mold to prevent the heat generated during the welding operation from scalding the battery shell.
The time of each welding operation should not be too long, such as repeated operation, the interval should be 3 to 5 minutes.
After the welding operation is completed, the battery should be recharged in time before it can be stored or used to avoid damage to the battery.
Reminder: We have been providing low-carbon life, so the use of items in life is also developing towards a low-carbon direction.
